Pickles

Pickled cucumbers (commonly known as a pickles) are cucumbers that have been pickled in a brine, vinegar, or some other solution and left to ferment for a period of time, by either immersing the cucumbers in an acidic solution or through souring by lacto-fermentation. Most McDonald's pickles are sour dill pickles sliced thinner than normal; this provides the most pickle taste for the lowest cost. The Angus Third Pounders featured a thick crinkle cut pickle.
