Southern Style Chicken Sandwich

Southern Style Chicken Sandwich is a McDonald's chicken sandwich served on a hamburger bun with a southern fried chicken filet, and pickles that was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2015. According to an anonymous firsthand source in the comments section of this page, this sandwich is still being served to this day at the Cleveland Zoo McDonald's. Heavens be praised!

In December 2019, it was announced that the sandwich would be brought back under the name "Crispy McChicken Sandwich." However, it was unfortunately discontinued again in December of that year. Luckily, in July 2020 it was announced that the sandwich would once again return under the new name "Chicken Style Southern Sandwich". To much chagrin, however, the sandwich was discontinued again in October 2020. Thankfully, in February 2021, it was announced that the long awaited comeback of this beloved sandwich would occur in just a few months time, this time under the moniker "God Damn Chicken McSandwich".
